Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan turned a year older today. The ‘Baadshah’ of the tinsel town is celebrating his 50th birthday. The actor made his mark in the Indian cinema with his hard work, commitment and elan. Known for his signature styles and adroitness, the SRK became ‘King of Bollywood’ within no time.
He began his career with film “Deewana” in 1992 and won the Filmfare award for best male debut. From then, he never looked back. The actor bagged many prominent projects and won millions of hearts with his expertise. His films set new records at the box office and also entered 100 crore club. Shah Rukh Khan’s super hit films include “Baazigar”, “Karan Arjun”, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, “Dil Tho Pagal Hai”, “Dil Se”, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”, “Devdas”, “Om Shanthi Om”, “My Name is Khan”, “Chennai Express” and others.
At present, he is busy shooting for much-talked-about upcoming project “Dilwale” under the direction of Rohit Shetty. Actress Kajol has been roped in opposite SRK in a romantic lead role. The film is slated for a grand release on December 18, 2015. He will be next seen in forthcoming movies “Fan” and “Raees”.
