Mumbai: The much-expected official trailer of “Udta Punjab” has been unveiled. Starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in all new avatars, the trailer rocked the show.
Shahid Kapoor made heads turn with his ‘rockstar’ looks. Known for portraying different characters in films, Shahid will be seen as Tommy Singh, who is high on drugs.
Actor Alia Bhatt, who is seen as a urban girl so far in her movies, is seen in a de-glam style. For the first time, Alia would be seen in the role of a destitute worker from Bihar in the “Udta Punjab”.
Kareena Kapoor Khan played the role of doctor and is seen fighting the illegal transportation of drugs. Popular Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh is seen playing the role of a Khaki.
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, “Udta Punjab” is set to release on June 17, 2016.
