Mumbai: Director Vikas Bahl has showed his upcoming film “Shaandaar” to Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput as a gift for her birthday. While releasing the song titled “Gulaabo”, Shahid Kapoor revealed the news.
When Shahid was asked what he gifted Mira on her birthday, the actor replied that director Vikas presented her a birthday gift, which was to show her Shaandaar. He added that Mira watched the film but still he hasn’t watched it. Shahid said that Vikas only showed it to Mira.
The party number “Gulaabo” from “Shaadaar” was unveiled. The magical song is high on energy as it features Alia Bhatt arranging a party for a character, played by Sanah (Shahid’s sister).
Earlier, Alia stood for Shahid from all personal questions. Even this time, the actress was seen protecting Shahid. She said, “I have said this time and again my friends, no wedding questions. I’m standing here, there won’t be any questions. Even if you ask me about my marriage, I won’t be answering them.”
“If you ask about her marriage, I’ll stand for her. That’s the feelings we have, ” said Shahid.
“Shaandaar” is a romantic comedy drama featuring Shahid and Alia as love birds. The picture also stars Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles. The film is set for a release on October 22, 2015.
