Mumbai: Finally, the makers confirmed the release date of much-awaited romantic entertainer “Ok Jaanu”, starring Bollywood’s favourite on-screen couple Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The movie is all set to hit silver screens on January 13, 2017.
Movie maker Karan Johar took to his official Twitter handle and shared the release date. He wrote, “#OKjaanu starring Aditya Roy Kapur and @ShraddhaKapoor directed by Shaad Ali will release January 13th,2017.”
Being directed by Shaad Ali, the movie marks the second collaboration of Aditya and Shraddha. Earlier, the duo raised temperatures of the B-Town with their crackling chemistry in blockbuster “Aashiqui 2”. The forthcoming flick is an official remake of Tamil and Telugu super hit “OK Kanmani”, directed by ace filmmaker Movie Mani Ratnam. The original film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in major roles. Music director AR Rahman’s tunes are the highlights of the flick.
