Singer Remo Fernandes booked in Goa for threatening a girl

Panaji: An acclaimed singer Remo Fernandes has been booked in Goa for allegedly threatening a minor girl. The girl was undergoing treatment at the state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital after being hit by Jonah (Remo’s son) car early this month.

Based on the complaint of girl, the police booked the singer under Section 8 of Goa Children’s Act.

According to police, the incident occurred at ward number 105 of Goa Medical College and hospital on December 3 at around 3pm. It is heard that the incident took place when the girl was walking towards Old Goa, to complete her vow to St Francis Xaviers and then she was allegedly hit by the car of Jonah. He was immediately booked for the accident.
