Mumbai: Bollywood diva Jiah Khan’s death raised dust in the country and there was no clear statement on whether it is a suicide or homicide. The actress was found dead in her Juhu apartment under suspicious circumstances in June 2013. Ever since, she found dead, the developments in the case stuck headlines. Now, the case once again witnessed limelight when the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) concluding that Jiah Khan had committed suicide.
The actress was in a relationship with actor Sooraj Pancholi. After the death of the actress, a letter has been recovered from her place, in which it is said that how she had to undergo an abortion during the course of her relationship with Pancholi. The victim’s mother, Rabia alleged that the actor was responsible for Jiah’s death. On charges of abetment, he was arrested and then released later.
Now, according to reports, it is heard that Jiah was four weeks pregnant and she informed the same to Sooraj. The couple consulted a physician but failed to abort the foetus. Then, the two visited another gynaecologist, who prescribed strong drugs.
Reports stated, “After taking the medicine, Khan started hemorrhaging and called Pancholi for help. She was in pain and needed immediate medical attention, but Pancholi allegedly asked her to wait and called up the gynaecologist for guidance. He was asked to rush Khan to hospital as the foetus had probably aborted but had not been expelled from the body, which is probably what led to the hemorrhaging.”
With this Sooraj got scared that his professional career might end when everyone learns about the pregnancy and abortion, so removed the foetus with his hands and then disposed it off in the toilet. Jiah Khan was emotionally disturbed and this led the actress to drove her to commit suicide.
