Mumbai: In order to protect the Bollywood actor Salman Khan from fan frenzy, the government of Uttar Pradesh deployed nearly 1,000 policemen for his security. At present, Salman Khan is busy shooting for his forthcoming film “Sultan” in Bihargarh village in Morna Tehsil of Muzaffarnagar. It is heard that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is overseeing the security of the star and also instructed the police to avoid taking pictures and shaking hands with the actor.
According to reports, “Salman arrived late on Tuesday night in a convoy of a dozen cars amidst tight security. He is staying at a farmhouse in the outskirts of the village. As soon as word spread that the star would be arriving, multitude of his fans began thronging the area, but they were kept at bay.”
“Salman was escorted to the farmhouse from the back gate. He had over 20 bouncers accompanying him. The road leading to the farmhouse was closed for the public and only people associated with the film could enter the premises,” added reports.
Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, “Sultan” stars Salman Khan in a title role. Actress Anushka Sharma will be seen playing an important role in the movie.
