Hyderabad: Tollywood actor Uday Kiran was arrested by the Jubilee Hills police on Friday for attempt to murder. On Wednesday night, the actor was booked for assaulting an employee in Daspalla hotel, according to reports.
According to police, the staff of the hotel filed a complaint against the actor for assaulting the staff, creating nuisance and damaging furniture. Based on the complaint, the police arrested the actor. It is heard that the actor was in an inebriated condition when the incident took place.
The police said, “We booked him under three sections 307 (attempt to murder), 448(Punishment for house-trespass), 427 (Mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) of IPC for entering the premises in a drunken condition and assaulting the staff and damaging furniture.”
