Jaipur: Clerics of Kota have imposed a ban on DJs, loud music and wedding bands in Muslim wedding. The Quazi’s believe that such implementations will put financial burden on the poor.
According to the reports, though the Qazis of the state agree with what the clerics opine, they do not endorse the ban, stating it’s a matter of personal choice.
In order to make sure that the ban is strictly implemented, the clerics said that no ‘nikah’ forms will be distributed to a cleric if he is found endorsing such weddings.
