Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has set a bold goal — to bring Hollywood to Hyderabad. His vision aims to make the city a global filmmaking hub with advanced studios, faster approvals, and stronger industry support.
Speaking to filmmakers and National Award winners, Revanth Reddy promised full government backing for cinema. He said Hyderabad will soon compete with major global cities like Los Angeles and Seoul.
The CM announced a single-window system to clear all film permissions quickly. He said this move will cut red tape and attract international projects.
Revanth Reddy also revealed plans to build new studios, upgrade VFX facilities, and train young technicians. He noted that cinema creates jobs and boosts tourism and the local economy.
“Cinema is our identity and pride,” he said. “It deserves the same respect as IT and manufacturing.”
His announcement has excited Tollywood producers, who called it a turning point for the industry. Many believe this initiative will place Hyderabad at the heart of India’s entertainment map.
