Mumbai: The first Indian Film Festival – Vietnam kick-started on December 18, 2015 in the city of Ho Chi Minh City. The Indian Embassy in Vietnam and the Directorate of Film Festivals – Ministry of I&B, Government of India organised the festival in an aim to introduce the Indian cinema to the audience of Vietnam.
Bollywood’s noted personalities – Rahul Mitra, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Umesh Shukla and few others attended the 6-day-film fest.
B-Town’s well-deserved recognized films – Taare Zameen Par, Jodha Akbar, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Oh My God, 3 Idiots, Maqbool, Dil Chahta Hai, Wake Up Sid and Paheli will be screened at the fest.
