Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita stated that attacks on TDP workers continue across the state. Addressing Vaikapa president Jagan Mohan Reddy, she accused him of making baseless claims in Delhi while his party’s supporters allegedly attacked TDP workers. Minister Nara Lokesh also expressed concern, stating that Jagan’s actions have led to sleepless nights for him due to the allegations recorded in the Redbook.
Speaking in the assembly, Anita challenged Jagan’s claims about 36 murders in the state, pointing out that he failed to provide the names of the victims when asked. “Does Jagan not have the courage to come to the assembly and name those killed? What is the use of speaking in Delhi without addressing the assembly? He is conspiring to hinder the state’s investment prospects. Has he forgotten his conduct while in power? Does he have the right to speak about law and order?” she questioned.
Anita assured that as the Home Minister, she would take action if provided with details of the alleged murders. She emphasized that the government is committed to maintaining law and order and addressing any genuine concerns raised.
