Mangalagiri: In a stark warning about the precarious state of affairs in Andhra Pradesh, TDP national president and former chief minister, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, expressed grave concerns over the future of the state’s populace. Speaking at the release of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)’s combined manifesto, Naidu lamented the current plight of the people, stating that their future hangs in the balance.

Naidu highlighted the alarming statistics, citing a staggering debt of Rs 13 lakh crore that has plunged the state into a deep crisis over the past five years. He pointed out widespread insecurity, unrest, and a rise in incidents of murder and suicide across the state. Families are burdened with an average debt of Rs 8 lakh amidst soaring prices and heavy tax loads, while unemployment remains a pressing issue.

Moreover, Naidu expressed distress over Andhra Pradesh ranking third in farmer suicides and second in atrocities against underage girls. He criticized the neglect of vital projects like river interlinking and the Polavaram project, as well as the destruction of Amaravati, once a thriving hub of employment and revenue generation.

Naidu accused the current administration of diverting funds meant for the welfare of marginalized communities and scrapping successful welfare schemes implemented during TDP’s tenure. He condemned the rampant land grabbing facilitated by the Land Titling Act and the exploitation of resources by various mafias.

Addressing the electorate, Naidu urged voters to support the NDA to steer Andhra Pradesh towards prosperity once again. He outlined the NDA’s promises, including job creation, financial assistance for farmers, and improved infrastructure, vowing to implement these schemes with dedication.

As the state gears up for elections, Naidu emphasized the importance of restoring Andhra Pradesh’s glory and urged voters to choose wisely for a brighter future.
