In a shocking verdict, the Special CBI Court acquitted all those accused in the 2G Scam case. The judgment was read out at the Patiala House Court Complex in Delhi.
CBI Judge O. P. Saini read the verdict that said all the accused including former Telecom Minister A. Raja and DMK MP Kanimozhi was found not guilty. The judge explained this judgment was made because the prosecution failed to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt.
The verdict was announced a little after 10:40 A.M. by Judge O. P. Saini. A number of senior members from the DMK were present at Court. M. Kanimozhi’s husband was also present in the Court. Hundreds of A. Raja fans gathered outside the Patiala House to support the former Telecom Minister.
A. Raja’s family said, “Justice has prevailed,” after the verdict declared Raja and the rest not guilty.
