Amaravati: Representatives from NITI Aayog met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the state’s ambitious “AP-2047” vision. During the meeting, CM Naidu emphasized his goal to transform Andhra Pradesh into a $2 trillion economy by 2047. He explained that the state is currently preparing a comprehensive vision document to guide this transformation.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the state is adopting a “macro to micro” policy, with district-wise vision documents being developed for the next five years. He outlined plans to position Andhra Pradesh as a high-value agri-processing hub, with a strong focus on enhancing youth skills in the industrial sector.

CM Naidu also shared his vision to make Andhra Pradesh a logistics hub for India’s east coast, a center for industrial growth, and a leader in renewable energy generation. Additionally, the state aims to develop itself as an international tourist destination and convert various cities into growth centers. The CM emphasized the importance of ensuring that all citizens have access to the latest medical services.

Environmental sustainability and digital governance were also key aspects of the discussion, with CM Naidu noting that Andhra Pradesh is committed to becoming a model for both.
