Hyderabad: Telangana state government to start implementing two more guarantees from Tuesday. Government is set to launch schemes to provide 200 units of free power under the Gruha Jyothi Scheme and subsidized gas cylinders for Rs. 500 under Maha Lakshmi. Both the schemes are applicable to the eligible beneficiaries with a valid below poverty line (BPL) card.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the schemes at a huge public meeting scheduled at Chevella on Tuesday. He is likely to address a public meeting explaining the vision of the Telangana government.
Priyanka Gandhi was invited to attend the program and she was unable to attend due to personal reasons. Revanth Reddy directed authorities to make arrangements for the virtual public address of Priyanka Gandhi.
Sources said that the state government is successfully implementing 4 guarantees and eyeing to implement remaining two guarantees which include Indiramma Housing food for the poor at the earliest.
