Tadepalli: YSRCP spokesperson and former MLC Jupudi Prabhakar Rao condemned recent attacks on Dalits, calling for immediate justice. He highlighted two incidents involving Kakinada Rural MLA Pantham Nanaji and MLA Raghurama Krishnam Raju, both of whom allegedly disrespected the Dalit community.

During a press briefing at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, Jupudi criticized MLA Nanaji for physically assaulting Dalit professor Dr. Umamaheswara Rao at Rangaraya Medical College. He also condemned MLA Raghurama Krishnam Raju for tearing down a flex banner of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, an act Jupudi called deeply offensive.

Jupudi questioned why no legal action had been taken against MLA Nanaji despite his violent behavior, accusing local officials of attempting to suppress the issue. He demanded that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan address the rising violence and lawlessness in the state.

He also called for an apology from Raghurama Krishnam Raju for his actions against Ambedkar’s image, promising that YSRCP would continue to support the Dalit community and ensure justice is served.
