The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will conduct a party meeting on the 26th of May, in Delhi.

Arvind Kejriwal, the President of the AAP, will address the Member of Parliament (MP) candidates, workers and leaders of the Party at the Punjabi Bagh Club.

According to sources, during the meeting, Mr. Kejriwal will discuss and analyse the defeat of the Party in the Delhi Lok Sabha elections.

Kejriwal will also formulate new strategies after the AAP’s lost all the 7 Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

Gopal Rai, the Convenor of the AAP in Delhi, said, “We are going through assembly-level data and also collating booth-wise data. Going ahead, we will fix the weaknesses in our organisation. Then we will draft our future blueprint.”

Mr. Rai further said, the AAP will now focus work in the areas of education, health, water, doorstep delivery of services and the installation of CCTVs in the Union Territory. According to the AAP, these projects were halted as the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) was enforced during the elections.

On the 19th of May, Delhi contested a total of 7 Parliamentary seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

The major parties which contested the Delhi Lok Sabha elections were the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) the Indian National Congress (INC) and the AAP.

According to the results of the Lok Sabha elections, which were announced on the 23rd of May, the BJP performed well in Delhi and secured all the 7 Lok Sabha seats.
