Cairo: An EgyptAir jet that took off from Paris and was on its way to Cairo has missed its contact from the airline, according to the airport officials.
EgyptAir officials confirmed through twitter that, “EGYPTAIR Flight no MS804,which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST),heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar. It is carrying 59 passengers and 10 crew members.”
The air officials said, that the airline lost its contact with the flight at 2:45 am, Cairo time. According to the airline, the plane was on the rise and disappeared before entering Egyptian airspace by 80 miles, or 10 minutes.
The disappearance comes roughly two months after a man from the Middle Eastern country made international headlines by hijacking an EgyptAir plane by saying he was wearing a suicide vest.
