Guntur: The Guntur district court has granted bail to Vaikapa leader and film actor Posani Krishna Murali, who was arrested by the CID police for making controversial remarks against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
The court, which had reserved its judgment on March 21 after hearing arguments, announced its verdict on Friday, granting bail under strict conditions. As per the ruling, Posani must provide two sureties of ₹1 lakh each, cannot leave the country, and is required to appear at the CID office twice a week to sign.
Following the bail order, Posani Krishna Murali is expected to be released from Guntur district jail on Saturday morning.
