The biopic of Indian cricket captain, M.S. Dhoni’s “M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story” starring Sushant Singh Rajput, has been banned in Pakistan after Pakistani actors where banned by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in India.
IMGC Global entertainment, a Pakistan based distribution company which was about to release the film in Pakistan stopped the release of the movie due to the high tensions between the two countries after the Uri attack.
As Pakistan is the third largest overseas market for Bollywood, the ban on the Dhoni biopic would affect the business.
A petition was filed in Lahore High Court seeking a ban on Indian films till the Kashmir issue is solved.
