Intelligence sources say that Usman Khan has entered into India along with at least four other LeT terrorists six days ago. After entering India, there  group was split into two. The other three terrorists attacked Dinanagar in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, the other two including Usman were waiting to strike at another location.
Usman ran into the village along with security forces on his trail, allegedly took three locals with him. He fired in a school. Four hours after firing, the terrorist was caught. The terrorist, believed to be a 20 year old, was tied in ropes and taken away by a large group of police personnel.
Mr Rana said, Usman will be interrogated in a safe house. “We will ask him what route he had taken, what was his target, why they targeted BSF,”. It is a rare catch for the forces, especially in a region where terrorists come prepared to “kill and be killed,” not “kill and escape.”

The last time a terrorist was caught was in March 2012. He was allegedly Pakistani.

“An attack on this stretch of the NH after a very long time. Worrying development because area was militant free,” tweeted former state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
