Delhi: Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy tendered resignation for Malkajgiri MP position. Revanth Reddy met speaker On Birla at his office and submitted his resignation.
Revanth Reddy wrote an open letter to the voters of Malkajgiri and said he will never forget the people of Malkajgiri who sent him to Parliament as MP. “The then rulers targeted me at Kodangal and continued harassment using police forces. I moved to Malkajgiri where people treated me as voice of Telangana and elected me as MP and gave chance to express the voice of Telangana at parliament,” Revanth said.
“I just submitted my resignation as MP. I always think about Malkajgiri which encourages a voice which questions the odds. Kodangal and Malkajgiri have special places in my heart,” Revanth Reddy said.
He added that he will do best for Malkajgiri until his last breath. Revanth Reddy visited Delhi for the first time on Friday after assuming charge as chief minister of Telangana.
He will participate in birthday celebrations of Sonia Gandhi at Delhi on Saturday and return to Hyderabad to attend assembly sessions.
