At around 7:20 A.M., this morning Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Ravinder Gosai was gunned down by two unidentified people. The 58 year old politician was murdered outside his house in Kailash Nagar, Ludhiana.
Gosai had stepped out for a morning walk with his dog when the assailants fired two bullets in his back and neck. The RSS leader died on the spot as the culprits fled the crime scene.
Ravinder Gosai was the acting head of Raghunath Nagar Mohan Shakha of RSS Ludhiana.
The police immediately rushed to the spot and began the investigation. After the news spread, BJP and RSS leaders arrived at the politician’s house to pay their respects.
Gosai was also an office bearer for the district Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)
