Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has revealed alarming details about a recent threat to his life involving the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In a statement to the Mumbai Crime Branch, Khan disclosed that the gang had plotted to kill him and his family. This comes in the wake of an incident in April, where his residence was targeted by gunfire.
According to reports, assailants fired at Khan’s house on April 14. The police have since filed a detailed charge sheet spanning over 1,700 pages. In his statement, Khan recounted being at home when he was jolted awake by gunshots. He described how his bodyguard informed him that at 4:55 a.m., two armed individuals arrived on a motorcycle and fired shots at the balcony of his first-floor residence.
Khan also mentioned that previous attempts have been made on his and his family’s lives. A formal complaint was lodged by his bodyguard at Bandra Police Station. The investigation has revealed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmollu publicly claimed responsibility for the attack on social media.
