In yet another successful encounter, two terrorists were gunned down in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. Reports revealed the two terrorists have been identified as Wasim Shah and Hafiz Nisar. Officials suspect the two were part of Lashkar e Tayiba.
The shootout began early this morning in Litter village in Pulwama. Security forces were tipped off with an Intelligence Bureau report informing the presence of the terrorists in the area.
The Army has further reported the operation is still underway as they are looking for a third terrorist.
Just last week, security forces managed to gun down Khalid who was the head of the Jaish e Mohammad militant group.

The two militants killed in Pulwama were from Lashkar e Taiba and one of them Waseem Shah is a top LeT commander. The 23 year old militant is said to be the main strategist who was the mastermind behind the unrest in South Kashmir last year.
The security forces recovered an AK 47 and an AK 56 along with a 6 AK magazines. The clash resulted in the death of one civilian and several others were injured.
