Tirupati: Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy Srinivasulu expressed concerns over a recent fire incident in the engineering department of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) administration building, raising suspicions about its cause.
After inspecting the fire site on Sunday, MLA Srinivasulu spoke to the media, noting the suspicious timing of the fire, especially as it follows a similar incident where files were burned in the Madanapalle sub-collector’s office. He emphasized that the recent warnings issued by vigilance officials to several individuals within the TTD’s engineering department add to the concerns.
The MLA called for a thorough investigation into the fire’s origins, stressing the importance of uncovering the truth. He mentioned that both Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan are taking the incident very seriously.
Srinivasulu assured that a police investigation is underway and vowed that the truth will emerge. He emphasized that those responsible for the fire will be held accountable and punished according to the law.
