Election officials reported that polling began early in the morning and continued until 1 PM, with final vote counting scheduled to start from 2 PM. Across 3,752 gram panchayats and over 28,000 wards, candidates battled for grassroots leadership roles that directly impact village governance and local development.

The final phase comes on the heels of strong voter engagement in the earlier rounds, where participation remained high and key contests signaled broader political trends. Several seats were uncontested or decided unanimously, while courts ordered stays in a handful of other contests.

Security arrangements were tight across districts to ensure peaceful polling. Authorities urged residents to exercise their franchise responsibly, highlighting the role of these foundational institutions in strengthening democracy at the village level.

As the day unfolds, political watchers and local leaders are keenly awaiting results, which will offer insights into rural sentiment across Telangana. The election marks an important milestone in empowering grassroots representatives who play a critical role in shaping community governance and delivery of civic services.
