
Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy clarified that there is possibility of canceling the membership of some MLAs, referring to past precedents involving Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Sampath Kumar. He highlighted historical traditions and mentioned that he faced restrictions in the assembly, noting that 10 Indian MLAs once approached and left together.
After the Telangana Legislative Assembly adjourned to Thursday, Revanth Reddy addressed the media. He emphasized Bhatti Vikramarka’s clear statement about Sabita Indra Reddy’s alleged fraud in the House. Reddy also mentioned facing two cases during his campaign support for Sunita Lakshmareddy, which were not pursued after her move to BRS.
CM Revanth Reddy pointed out that KTR and Harishrao spoke for six hours in the assembly, and he passed the rest of the speaking time to KCR. He questioned KCR’s leadership and suggested that KTR could fulfill the role. Reddy criticized KCR as an irresponsible leader, implying that his focus on power neglects the people’s needs.
Highlighting the democratic proceedings of the House, Revanth Reddy mentioned a marathon 17-hour session discussing the state budget, which has been integrated with the central budget. “We have approved the budget,” he concluded.
