New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam results have been declared on Saturday. The results were announced on the website www.upsc.gov.in.
Ira Singhal bagged the top rank followed by Renu Raj, Nidhi Gupta, Vandana Rao and Suharsha Bhagat. A total of 1.236 candidates have been recommended for the appointment, according to the press note on the website.
The final results have been announced within four days of the closing date for the interviews. The preliminary examination was conducted on August 24, 2014 at 2,137 venues across the country. Nearly 9 lakh people appeared for the exam.
