Amaravati: Numerous individuals who claimed to be victims of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders’ alleged atrocities narrated their ordeals to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday. The victims, gathered at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) central office, appealed for a detailed inquiry and strict action against those responsible for their suffering.

The victims recounted incidents of physical assaults, harassment, and illegal occupation of their properties by YSRCP leaders and their affiliates. They urged the Chief Minister to take swift action to ensure justice.

Among the complainants, Mr. Karempudi Abhiram from Gollapudi alleged that YSRCP MLC Talasila Raghuram, with the aid of police officials, forcibly took over assets worth ₹10 crore. He shared that his father, who contested in MPTC elections, faced harassment that led to his untimely death.

Another victim, Mr. G. Madhu from Penugonda, accused a former cabinet minister of forcibly occupying his properties, illegally detaining him and his wife, and seizing ₹38 lakh along with crucial documents. Similarly, Mr. P. Suresh from Nellimarla alleged that he was attacked for opposing illegal sand mining.

Responding to these grievances, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu assured a thorough investigation and extended financial support to some victims, promising justice.
