YSRCP Accuses Government of Weakening Cases Against Chandrababu Naidu

Tadepalli: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has alleged that the coalition government is actively working to dilute cases against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, involving scams that have cost the public crores of rupees. Former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy has demanded that trials be conducted outside Andhra Pradesh to ensure justice.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, Reddy accused the government of tampering with evidence in high-profile cases, including the Skill Development, Fibrenet, Inner Ring Road alignment, Capital Region assigned lands, and Margadarsi scams. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is violating bail conditions by influencing witnesses, placing loyalists in key positions, and harassing investigators.

Reddy cited examples of officers like DGP PSR Anjaneyulu, CID Chief Sunil Kumar, and Margadarsi investigator Ramakrishna, who faced suspension or vindictive actions after pursuing these cases. He also pointed out the reinstatement of Naidu’s personal assistant, allegedly involved in the Skill Development scam, as a clear violation of bail conditions.

The former minister shared evidence of corruption, including money routed through shell companies, irregular tenders in the Fibrenet case, and the Inner Ring Road alignment favoring Naidu’s associates. Reddy emphasized that only a trial conducted outside the state could ensure impartial justice.
