Indian students in US increased by 32 per cent: report

The strength of the International students for the admission at US universities and collages have increased by 32 percent.

A quarterly report on international students studying in the US was released by the students and Exchange Visitor Program(SVEP), which is a part of US immigration and Customs Enforcement that states “32 percent increased in students from India since 2014”. 76 percent of all international students are from Asia.

China, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Mexico and Brazil are the major countries which hold citizenship for international students.
India along with Vietnam tops with the greatest percentage increase in the number of students studying in US.
“Twenty-four per cent of all F & M students studying at schools in the state of Texas are from India, followed by 17 per cent from China,” SEVP said.
