The President of United States never ceases to surprise us. He is as funny as he is fabulous and is setting new standards of being the sweetest and coolest President ever. This time around, the topic of trend is the Christmas Greetings the White House sent out. The card is adorned by Barack Obama and his family, Michelle Obama, Malia Obama and Sasha Obama.
Usually the card carries a cosy picture of the family’s pet dog beside the fireplace at the Oval Office. The cards have been printed with adorable pictures of the Portuguese Water dogs, Bo and Sunny, since 2011 (the latter from 2013.) Although these make for warm wishes, it doesn’t top all the four Obamas in one frame. This particular picture was taken at the State Dinner for the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in March.
While Obama wore a tuxedo, Michelle chose a Jason Wu outfit. Their daughters are wearing dresses by Naeem Khan, which cost $20,000 each.
The world has seen White House Christmas cards being sent since 1927 but only one other American President has sent out official Christmas cards with photos of themselves on, and that was Bill Clinton. In 1993, he sent it with his wife Hillary Clinton, who was seen running for the office this year.
After this wonderful gesture, we are sure to miss President Barack Obama and his entire family even more!
