The former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav is awaiting his destiny at the International Court of Justice. The country has appointed its best lawyer, Harish Salve, to bring back the decorated officer home.
Pakistan’s decision of death sentence for Jadhav caused the rift between the two countries to increase further. Jadhav has been accused of espionage. While the fire is still raging, social media has different opinions about the case. This is the first time any country has approached ICJ for the life of a citizen in 45 years.
The case was presented at ICJ by Harish Salve on Monday. The way he represented the case did not go down well with some of the users, who condemned the way senior advocate and former Solicitor General of India Harish Salve fought the case.
However, things changed when the Union Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, tweeted the fee that Salve charged to fight the case.
When a user posted criticism, she wrote:

While the case is yet to be decided upon, the humanity and humility Salve showed has given us hope to retain trust in the judicial system.
