
Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, during a review meeting at the State Secretariat, emphasized the importance of adhering to a ‘people first’ policy for all government employees, urging them to focus on public opinion and expectations. The CM stressed that the feedback from beneficiaries is final and should guide the performance of government departments.
In the review, Naidu expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of several policies, especially where departments achieved positive outcomes by following best practices. He lauded officers and department heads for their effective service delivery, particularly in pension distribution. According to a survey, 90.20% of beneficiaries were pleased with the timely pension distribution on the 1st of every month. However, he acknowledged that 15.6% of pensioners raised concerns about corruption in some areas and promised strict action.
On the Anna Canteen scheme, 91% of beneficiaries were satisfied with the food quality, 82% with cleanliness, and 84% with the timely supply of meals. The grain procurement system also received positive feedback from 89.92% of farmers, although 30% reported dissatisfaction with the supply of gunny bags.
The Chief Minister directed the officers to improve services further, particularly in sand and fertilizer supply, aiming for 100% satisfaction among the public.
