Vijayawada: A few key leaders from various parties joined YSRCP on Monday.
APCC General Secretary Maddireddi Jagan Mohan Reddy and Secretary Ravuri Lakshmi Narayana Sastry (Guntur) joined YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Camp Office here on Tuesday.
The two leaders worked in various capacities in Guntur and Bapatla district Congress units.
Guntur East MLA Mohammad Mustafa Sheik and his daughter Sheik Nuri Fatima (YSRCP Guntur East coordinator) were present.
Similarly, Malireddy Kota Reddy, a prominent leader who has clout in several constituencies of Nellore district including rural and urban segments, joined YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Camp Office here on Tuesday.
Nellore rural constituency YSRCP coordinator Adala Prabhakar Reddy was present.
Jagan Mohan Reddy asked party leadership to focus on core issues at ground level. He asked every YSRCP leader to go door to door and convince the people to think about the welfare schemes received by them in the last 5 years.
