Guntur: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Ambati Rambabu launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of blaming opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and inherited financial issues to justify his failure to fulfill election promises. Speaking to the media on Monday, Ambati alleged that Chandrababu’s claims were a blatant attempt to cover up his inefficiency.

Ambati pointed out that Chandrababu admitted his inability to deliver on impractical election promises due to limited state resources. However, he criticized Naidu for making baseless allegations against YS Jagan’s previous administration. He stated that a comparison of capital expenditures shows the current government has performed better than its predecessor.

He further accused Naidu of spreading falsehoods, citing discrepancies in his claims about the state’s financial debts. During elections, Naidu alleged that the YS Jagan-led government had taken loans worth ₹14 lakh crore, a figure later reduced to ₹6.46 lakh crore after assuming office.

Ambati also highlighted the lackluster outcomes of Naidu’s participation in Davos and the Global Investment Summit, contrasting it with YS Jagan’s success in securing ₹1.26 lakh crore in MoUs during his term.

The leader concluded by criticizing Lokesh for making reckless remarks, stating that his respect stems solely from his father’s influence.
