
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh is set to witness an investment influx of ₹1,82,162 crore, expected to generate 2,63,411 employment opportunities across the state. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu approved nine key projects during the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting held at the Secretariat on Monday.
Among the notable investments, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) plans to establish a massive refinery plant in Ramayapatnam, Nellore district. This ₹96,862 crore project will span 6,000 acres, creating jobs for 2,400 individuals. The refinery will operate across five blocks with a total capacity of 9 million metric tons. The state anticipates ₹88,000 crore in revenue from this project over the next 20 years.
TCS will invest ₹80 crore to set up an office at Visakha Millennium Towers, creating 2,000 jobs. Additionally, Azad Mobility India Limited will invest ₹1,000 crore in Gudipalli, Sri Sathya Sai district. In the energy sector, another company will establish a ₹1,174 crore project on 106 acres in Anakapalli district.
Under the green energy policy, investments worth ₹83,000 crore are lined up, projected to generate ₹4,000 crore in state revenue. The CM directed officials to ensure the completion of all projects by 2028.
