Tirumala: Anna Konidala, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, offered her prayers at the sacred Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple on Monday. She visited the hill shrine early in the morning through the Vaikuntha queue complex and took part in the Suprabhata Seva ritual.
Following the darshan, Vedic scholars performed Vedasirvachanam for Mrs. Anna Konidala at the Ranganayakula Mandapam and presented her with Srivari Tirtha Prasadam. She also performed aarti at Akhiland and offered a coconut in reverence to the deity.
In a heartwarming gesture, Mrs. Konidala visited the Matrushri Tarigonda Vengamamba Nityannadana Satram at 10 a.m. and donated ₹17 lakh to the TTD’s Nityannadanam scheme in the name of her son, Konidala Mark Shankar. The donation was made as a thanksgiving gesture after her son recently recovered from a fire accident in Singapore.
Following the donation, she personally served Annaprasadam to the devotees at the Satram and later had the prasadam alongside them, showcasing humility and devotion. TTD Additional EO Shri Venkaiah Chaudhary was present during the programme and appreciated the noble gesture.
