Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan extended his heartfelt wishes to the AIADMK party on its foundation day. In a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), he praised the late MG Ramachandran (MGR), the founder of the AIADMK, for his immense contributions to Tamil Nadu’s development.
Pawan Kalyan highlighted MGR’s dedication to the welfare of the poor and needy, noting how his leadership turned Tamil Nadu into a prosperous state. “MGR laid a strong foundation for long-term sustainable development while addressing the immediate needs of the people. His sincerity towards governance and the welfare of the people is something that continues to inspire me,” Kalyan shared.
He further acknowledged former AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa for carrying forward MGR’s vision. “Jayalalithaa successfully continued his ambitions, earning the respect of the people as ‘Amma’. AIADMK, under the leadership of Palaniswami, should continue to uphold the values of MGR and remain the voice of the people of Tamil Nadu,” he added.
