Amaravati: AP Fiber Net Chairman GV Reddy has announced the immediate removal of three top officials—Chief Technology Officer Pappu Bharadwaja, Business and Operations Head Gandhamshetty Suresh, and Procurement Assistant Manager Shashank Haider Khan—citing negligence and mismanagement. Speaking at a media conference, Reddy revealed serious concerns about the company’s functioning.
Expressing dissatisfaction, GV Reddy criticized the lack of cooperation in implementing reforms. “Despite ordering the termination of 400 employees, the MD and ED refused to sign the order. The company continued to pay salaries, leading to financial mismanagement. The GST department has imposed a ₹377 crore fine on Fiber Net, but officials failed to inform me,” he stated.
He also slammed MD Dinesh Kumar, accusing him of inaction since his appointment in August. “He has not reviewed operations or met with service providers. Is this a conspiracy to sabotage Fiber Net? There have been no efforts to boost revenue or expand services,” Reddy alleged.
Highlighting further irregularities, Reddy confirmed that illegally paid salaries for three months must be recovered from top officials. He plans to write to the Advocate General and Chief Secretary to take action against those responsible.
