Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh state government has filled numerous nominated positions, appointing chairpersons and members for 20 corporations. This decision reflects a collaborative approach, as leaders from the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena have been prioritized in these appointments. Among the notable selections is former TDP MP Konakalla Narayana, who has been named the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APS RTC).

The government’s announcement includes a total of 99 appointments, ensuring representation from various communities, including Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and minorities. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the importance of recognizing common workers who have dedicated their efforts to the party at the grassroots level, with a special focus on youth empowerment.

  • APS RTC: Konakalla Narayana (Chairman), PS Muniratnam (Vice Chairman, TDP)
  • Housing Corporation: Battula Tatayya Babu (TEDPA)
  • 20 Principles Implementation Committee: Lanka Dinakar (BJP)
  • Consumer Protection Council: Pithala Sujata (TEDPA)
  • MSME: Tammireddy Sivashankar (Janasena)
  • Civil Supplies Corporation: Thota Mehr Sitarama Sudhir (Janasena)
