Hyderabad: Actor Prakash Raj, currently abroad, has stated that he will respond to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s recent remarks when he returns to India after September 30. In a tweet, he clarified, “Pawan Kalyan, I just saw your press meet. You misunderstood what I said. I will come to India after the 30th and answer all your questions. In the meantime, please read my tweet again and understand.”
The ongoing controversy surrounding the Tirumala laddu has sparked widespread debate among politicians and devotees alike, calling for accountability and action against those responsible. In a recent post, Prakash Raj criticized Kalyan for creating unnecessary fear and turning the issue into a national debate, suggesting it could exacerbate communal tensions.
Pawan Kalyan responded during a media interaction after performing rituals at the Indrakiladri Durgagudi temple. He expressed frustration over the comments made by Raj and urged him to be informed before criticizing sensitive topics. Kalyan emphasized, “If you talk about Sanatana Dharma, you must understand its significance.”
In a related tweet, actor Manchu Vishnu supported Kalyan, reminding Raj that the Tirumala laddu symbolizes the faith of millions of Hindus and asserting that appropriate inquiries are already underway to address the matter.
