Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Minister Anagani Satyaprasad highlighted the serious land-related challenges faced by the state due to the previous government’s alleged mismanagement. Speaking at a media conference in Amaravati, the minister assured that the current administration is systematically addressing these issues and warned of strict action against officials involved in tampering with land records, especially those affecting the poor.

The minister announced that the state cabinet will soon make a decision regarding the long-standing land issues in five villages of Simhachalam. He also confirmed plans for rationalizing registration values across the state. While registration values are set to increase in growth corridors, they will remain unchanged in 29 villages within the Amaravati capital region. He added that book values in areas like Guntur and Markapuram would be adjusted to align with market conditions. Furthermore, Nala tax rates will also be rationalized to ensure fairness.

Minister Satyaprasad expressed optimism about the state’s investment prospects, noting that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to Davos had garnered significant interest from industrialists. He also commented on the successful completion of two years of the Yuvagalam march, praising Lokesh for overcoming obstacles.

The minister concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to fulfilling all electoral promises.
