Amaravati: APCC President Sharmila has launched a scathing critique of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, describing his actions as a “stupidity” deserving of a place in a museum. During a recent address, Sharmila questioned Jagan’s call for the suspension of Chandrababu Naidu, mocking his ability to see Naidu’s influence even in his reflection. She expressed her discontent on the ‘X’ platform, accusing Jagan of harboring personal animosity rather than addressing real issues.
Sharmila highlighted the freedom of opposition parties to critique each other, emphasizing that Jagan’s absence from the assembly is a sign of disrespect towards the legislature. She reiterated her call for Jagan’s resignation over this perceived neglect.
Sharmila also addressed past grievances, recalling her warning to the ruling party against dismantling YSR statues. She criticized the ruling party for altering the names of institutions and accused them of failing to honor YSR’s legacy. Sharmila defended the Congress government’s achievements in Telangana, contrasting them with alleged failures and deceit under the current administration.
She further accused Jagan of compromising state interests for personal gain and aligning with BJP at the cost of Andhra Pradesh’s welfare. Sharmila concluded that such actions are leading to Jagan’s downfall.
