Anakapalli: Legislative Assembly President Chintakayala Ayyannapatra emphasized his commitment to his new role as a responsibility rather than an honor. Visiting Anakapalli district for the first time since assuming office, Ayyannapatra offered silk clothes to Ilavelpu Anakapalli Nukalamma, with the Devadaya Department’s officials and priests welcoming him.
Anakapalli MP CM Ramesh, MLA Konatala Ramakrishna, former Minister Thadis Veerabhadra Rao, and ex-MLA Pila Govinda Satyanarayana presented Ayyannapatra with an Ammavari portrait and prasadas. During his visit, he inspected the construction of the newly built temple and urged the Department of Religion officials to expedite the work.
Speaking to reporters, Ayyannapatra reflected on the state’s challenges over the past five years. He acknowledged former CM Chandrababu Naidu’s efforts in funding the reconstruction of Nukalamma Devasthanam and expressed his determination to see the temple’s completion under Naidu’s leadership. He also sought the Goddess’s blessings for a successful tenure as Assembly Speaker.
Ayyannapatra was accompanied by former MLC Buddha Nagajagadiswara Rao, Deputy Commissioner N. Sujatha, and EO Bandaru Prasad.
