Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at ‘Praja Bhavan’ with a protest taken up by residents of Prakash Nagar Extension of Begumpet against the MLA Danam Nagendar. Locals alleged that MLA grabbed their valuable lands and tried to threaten the residents of Prakash Nagar slums.
Around 40 people carrying placats demonstrated against MLA Danam Nagendra. Meanwhile a follower of Danam Nagendar named Nagaraju tried to videograph the victims who are participating in the protest. Agitators attacked Nagaraju and deleted the video footage.
They alleged that Sudheer Goud, a follower of MLA Nagendar is harassing the women at Begumpet slum area. Agitators alleged that the MLA and their followers are pressuring them to vacate the slum against the high court orders.
They sought the attention of CM A Revanth Reddy and serious action against MLA Danam and his followers.
