Idupulapaya: YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) president YS Sharmila confirmed the merger of her party into the Congress party. Sharmila said that she made up her mind to work with the Congress party. Sharmila along with his son YS Raja Reddy participated in special prayers at her father YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s tomb.
Sharmila placed his son Raja Reddy’s wedding card at her father’s grave and sought blessings.
“I have decided to travel along with Congress and stay away from contests in Telangana. Congress won 31 seats with a majority of less than 10 thousand votes. YSRTP indirectly helped Congress by staying away from the contest. Congress recognised my sacrifice and called me for a meeting at Delhi. Will be going to Delhi on Wednesday, “ Sharmila said.
She added that all questions and doubts of the people will be answered after two days. Sharmila’s son’s fiancee Atluru Priya also accompanied Sharmila at Idupulapaya.
