Tadepalli: YSRCP Spokesperson Gadikota Srikanth Reddy accused former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of betraying the people of Rayalaseema by depriving the region of its rightful High Court and moving allied courts out of Kurnool.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Srikanth Reddy highlighted the Sribagh Agreement, which mandates establishing the High Court in Rayalaseema. He criticized Chandrababu for opting for a mere bench instead, calling it a betrayal of the region. The relocation of allied courts like the Lokayukta further demonstrates neglect towards Rayalaseema’s development, he alleged.
Srikanth Reddy also slammed Naidu for abandoning critical irrigation projects such as Handri-Neeva and Galeru-Nagari, which are crucial for the region’s agricultural growth.
He accused the TDP’s official social media handle of spreading objectionable content against YSRCP leaders and their families without facing any repercussions.
Highlighting Chandrababu’s mismanagement, Srikanth Reddy pointed to the compromise on Polavaram’s dam height as evidence of his lack of commitment. He also dismissed Naidu’s claims on state finances, praising YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for maintaining economic growth despite the pandemic’s challenges.
